I tend to dream frequently, and I keep a dream journal. I use dreams as one form of psychological healing that connects to the unconscious. Just as dreams continuously record the hidden layers of ourselves that we are not consciously aware of, I believe that processing those dreams and recording them in different ways is equally important. For this reason, I chose to reinterpret my dreams through the language of art.

This work speaks of an apocalypse within the unconscious world.

Endangered elements such as trees, mountains, and deer are placed upside down; the sea pours vertically like a valley; and lava flows upward against gravity from the bottom of a cliff—rendered in a surreal manner. Through these inverted and irrational landscapes, I aim to convey how anxiety about nature infiltrates not only our conscious thoughts but also our dreams and unconscious minds.

Additionally, by depicting myself running on a treadmill made of unresolved waste, I express a sense of desperation—of being swept into this situation—and a surreal image of being unable to escape, no matter how hard one tries.
